A fire strategy outlines the measures that organisation has in place to prevent fires and explains how they will respond in case of a fire emergency. We will work with you to ensure your fire strategy is personal to your company and helps keep your staff and the public safe.

Our Fire Risk Assessments are based on the best practice PAS 79 standards. Normally completed annually, they are a legal requirement for most businesses under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. The process includes Identifying the fire hazards and the people at risk. Then evaluating and removing / reducing those risks. It will check the suitability of record keeping, the emergency plan and staff training.

Firefighter training is a specialist skill and is industry and location dependent. All our firefighting courses are designed bespoke for the customers specific needs to ensure the most appropriate policies, training and exercising are developed.

Fire Wardens are key part of an organisations evacuation strategy. This course provides the essential knowledge of how to avoid fires from happening through routine fire safety checks and then essential knowledge of how quickly fires can spread. It will explore the Fire Wardens key role of understanding the evacuation strategy for a building and how their role in getting staff and the public to safety. This course can be combined with the Fire Extinguisher Training course if required.

Many buildings provide fire extinguishers for staff use but often do not properly train their staff in how to operate those extinguishers. This course will provide delegates with the knowledge and understanding of when to use an extinguisher including a practical session operating varying types of extinguishers.
